Introduction

We are now starting by focusing on McCluskiegunj. We are not limited to any state or district. But McCluskiegunj being a tourist centre  in Jharkhand as well as a village of Anglo Indians post independence which is also known as mini England is our first target.
Corruption is at it's peak level in different fields such as; education, health, environment, tourism, government strategies etc. We will discuss it in different fields distinctly.

McCluskiegunj is 65 kilometres away from the capital city (Ranchi) of Jharkhand by road. It was established by E.T. McCluskie in the early 30's. This little village of the Anglo Indians is one of its kind in the whole world. McCluskiegunj was earlier known and famous for it's natural beauty and still is but in a deteriorating way...

It has been declared a Tourist Centre internationally. Every year tourists visit this place from different parts of India and abroad.
There are a number of good English medium schools as well as government schools here. There are also two Inter Colleges here.
There were nearly 365 Victorian style bungalows but at present there are merely 40 in good condition. There is a unique spot where a mosque, a temple, a gurudwara and a church stand together as a pilgrimage. Devotees come to worship occasionally.
The Damodar river runs through the calm and beauty of McCluskiegunj.
Above all, this chanting place is disturbed through unsocial elements and it's activities which has taken form of corruption at it's peak.
I am a R.T.I. Activist and social worker trying my best to make the society corruption free. You will further read about the corruption and action taken against it in my later posts.
Join me to build a Corruption free Nation.
